This is the breakdown of the 24 step yang style short form

The form work used is based on Peters understanding after learning from various Tai-Chi masters.

 

Peter teaches at Ipswich Buddhist Centre Thursdays 6 to 7.20pm and Mondays 7.30 to 9.00pm  costs £6.00 per class.

 

FAQ

What is Tai-Chi?

It is based on Taoist philosophy the puts us more in harmony with nature. Through initially slow controlled movements we get to feel how we can move, what being centered means and how to be in the moment.

I don’t want to fight.

Without an understanding of the intent of movement Tai Chi would be just slow dancing, safely learning self - defence applications works on deeper levels of our instinctual nature and brings us to a deeper understanding of ourselves

I have a bad back / neck /knee can I still practice.

Yes most ailments can benefit, but be compassionate with yourself, get to know your limitations and stop if you need to.

I don’t remember sequences.

It is not important as the classes are structured to allow you to progress at your speed
